We are pleased to announce the launch of the National Indigenous Fire Workshop for 2018. This years workshop will be the 10th to be conducted and will be based for the first time outside of Cape York.

The workshop will be held at the Bundanon Trust Reserve in the south coast of NSW and hosted by the Mudjingaalbarage fire sticks team. The site is a beautiful property that was owned by the famous Australian artist the late Arthur Boyd and will be an amazing opportunity to bring the arts into the cultural fire. The Bundanon Trust and Traditional Owners are keen to host this amazing event to help improve the health and culture of their area and for communities abroad.

Seeking support

We are seeking support from all the involved agencies and communities that are connected to this important initiative. Help in the form of funds, equipment, special talents, or labourers to help make this event a success would appreciated. We are expecting a lot more people than our past events and will need more resource to deliver this to produce the best outcome for the communities. The event does not have major funding and as always we make each year a success by community involvement.

Please get in touch with us via email to find out how you can support this event.
