Central Tablelands Local Land Service (LLS) Cultural Burning Project hosted a series of workshops on Cultural Fire. Those attending were invited to take part in:
- Cultural fire knowledge sharing with Victor Steffensen
- Culture sharing.
- Fire and land management.
- A burn (depending on the conditions)
The workshops took place as follows:
13th, 14th & 15th May – Mawonga (via Mt Hope)
starting 12noon on the 13th , camping out, finishing 9am on 15th
.
15th May – Murrin Bridge
11:30am to 5pm.
16th May – Shadforth near Orange
8am to 1pm, supported by Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC).
16th May – Eugowra
2.30pm to 7pm, supported by Mid Lachlan Landcare .
17th May – Darbys Falls
8:30am to 11:30am, sponsored by the K2W (Kanangra Boyd to Wyangala) and the CORRIDOR Project.
17th May – Cowra peace precinct
12:30am to 6pm, sponsored by Cowra Shire Council.
