This project is a partnership between land owner (Ngulingah Local Aboriginal Land Council), land manager (Dorrabee Grassland Trust) and the Nature Conservation Council of NSW through the Firesticks Project.
This contract enabled the Nimbin Rocks Rangers and the Dorrabee Grassland Trust to build up a relationship to work this site under one management plan to restore the proper burn frequency and bring back the Grasslands. The management techniques used to achieve this is weed control through the use of Best Practice Bush Regeneration techniques and traditional fire use.
